He wants a nice modern looking installer. Most links I've seen just direct me to API pages. It was announced in March of this year, so I'm sure it's got all the bugs ironed out already. It's supposed to combine all the installation technologies into a superset implemented in open-source code. I've been digging around to see if they support deployment of windows services, since they seem aimed more at desktop/store app deployment and it's unknown if they've already fleshed out everything.
